European site definition
According to the national planning policy framework (nppf), a 'European site' includes:
- Candidate Special Areas of Conservation,
- Sites of Community Importance,
- Special Areas of Conservation,
- Special Protection Areas,
and is defined in regulation 8 of the Conservation of Habitats and Species Regulations 2010.
