Archaeological Evidence for Glassworking, Guidelines for Recovering, Analysing and Interpreting Evidence, published by Historic England in 2018, defines cullet as: ‘Glass collected for recycling, which is likely to be a mixture of glass made at the site and glass made elsewhere.’
