Contract Tiering Tool
Resolution planning, guidance note, published by the Government Commercial Function in May 2021, states: ‘The Contract Tiering Tool, which is available to all public sector bodies, measures criticality using various measures including the potential impact of service failure, the speed and ease of switching suppliers and the contract value. The tool categorises contracts into “gold” (most critical), “silver” and “bronze” (least critical).’
