The expo is hosted by the organizer committee of the Integrated Building Committee under the Construction Industry Sub-Council of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT). The Construction Industry Sub-Council of CCPIT is a national-level industry organization in China, dedicated to promoting international cooperation in the construction and building industrialization sectors.

The expo covers an area of 50,000 square meters with 90,000 audiences and 600+ exhibitors, which include major enterprises such as China State Construction Engineering Corp., China Railway Construction Group, and China Overseas Holdings. The total on-site signing amount at CIHIE 2025 reached a cumulative 86.6 billion RMBs.

The 18th CIHIE will be held from May 8–10, 2026, at Guangzhou Poly World Trade Center Expo, bringing together developers, contractors, technology providers, material suppliers, and industry decision-makers from China and overseas.
