Accelerator heater
Guide to Controls (BG 83/2023) written by John Marrow and published by BSRIA in June 2023, defines an accelerator heater as: ‘A small electric resistance heating element inside a thermostat which helps minimise large temperature difference in a controlled space when on/off control is used.’
