Renewable Energy Procurement & Carbon Offsetting, Guidance for net zero carbon buildings, published by the UK Green Building Council (UKGBC) in March 2021, states that 1.5 degrees: ‘Relates to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change special report on 1.5 degrees which found that limiting global warming to 1.5 degrees compared with 2 degrees would reduce challenging impacts on ecosystems, human health, and well-being.’
