Volume based price
Risk allocation and pricing approaches, guidance note, published by the Government Commercial Function in May 2021 suggests that with a volume based payment mechanism: ‘The amount paid to the supplier varies according to how much the service is used, typically on a price per unit basis (but can be combined with a fixed element to cover any fixed costs)’
