About Polarisacoustics
Acoustic consultants based in Hampshire, providing BS 8233, BS 4142 and BS 5228 noise assessments to developers across the UK.
Polaris Acoustics is an independent consultancy helping architects, developers and homeowners move projects smoothly through planning and Building Regulations. We deliver clear, evidence-led noise surveys and acoustic reports—focused on practical outcomes, fast turnaround and documents planners can trust.
We specialise in residential schemes (new build, refurbishment and Class MA conversions) and fixed mechanical plant. Typical work includes environmental noise monitoring and BS 8233 assessments, façade/glazing/ventilation advice, Part E sound insulation testing, and BS 4142 plant noise assessments. We also support construction phases with BS 5228 noise and vibration management to minimise risk and keep programmes on track.
Every report is concise, planner-friendly and aligned to local policy. You’ll get a clear scope, fixed fee and a single point of contact from first enquiry to condition discharge. Send your site address, drawings and any LPA feedback, and we’ll outline the simplest route to compliance with a tailored quotation.
