All food businesses involved in the manufacturing, storage, distribution, transportation, or retailing of food items must have a central FSSAI license from the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India. The FSSAI License may be issued by the State FSSAI Regulator or the Central FSSAI Regulator, depending on the nature of the firm. Only the eligibility and paperwork required for acquiring a Central FSSAI License.
