Proprietary rights
International Fire Safety Standards: Common Principles, published on 8 March 2021 by the International Fire Safety Standards Coalition, defines proprietary rights as: ‘Legal rights over real property by an individual or organisation who is not an owner or occupier. This includes rights of way and rights or entry and land between buildings. Such rights are specified in covenants relating to the Building.’
