In relation to planning policy, non-strategic policies are: ‘Policies contained in a neighbourhood plan, or those policies in a local plan that are not strategic policies. Ref The National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) Annex 2: Glossary, published by the Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Government (MHCLG) in 2012.
