Network router

Guide to Controls (BG 83/2023) written by John Marrow and published by BSRIA in June 2023, defines states a: ‘network connection device allows multiple network connections to be made at one unit. A router is used as a forwarding device for data between networks. Typically, a router can be the interface between the internet and a local area network. Routers have software which holds a network table allowing them to route data traffic in the most efficient way to their destinations.’
