Living Systems Institute is a catchy title and I had never heard of 'predictive biology' - although I've done 30+ years in what is definitely a 'life science'. However, this relates to the increasing rise of 'personalised medicine' where, for example, molecular tests are used to predict which cancers will respond to a specific drug based on a family of monoclonal antibody drugs. One thing is for sure, living systems are complex and these modern individually targeted therapies are very expensive. Not for reuse.
