Data noise

Applied digital documentation In the historic environment, published on 19 March 2018 by Historic Scotland, suggests that noise is: ‘Typically taken to either refer to either, (a) any extraneous data accidentally collected or generated during data capture, or (b) uncertainty component of a laser return signal, usually specified by manufacturers.’
