Change to energy status
Approved Document L, Conservation of fuel and power, Volume 1: Dwellings, 2021 edition incorporating 2023 amendments, suggests that ‘change to energy status’ is: ‘Defined in regulation 2(1) as any change which results in a building becoming a building to which the energy efficiency requirements of these Regulations apply, where previously it was not.’
