Carbon cost effectiveness
Carbon Offset Funds, Greater London Authority guidance for London’s Local Planning Authorities on establishing carbon offset funds, published by the Mayor of London in October 2018, defines carbon cost effectiveness as: ‘…the capital cost per tonne of CO2 saved over the lifetime of the carbon offset measure (£capex/tCO2 lifetime).’
It defines lifetime carbon cost effectiveness as ‘…the lifetime cost per tonne of CO2 saved over the lifetime of the carbon offset measure (£lifetime/tCO2 lifetime).’
