Bearing
The Geospatial Glossary, published by the Geospatial Commission, and accessed on 17 September 2022, defines a bearing as a: ‘Horizontal angle at a point relative to a specified direction.’
The word bearing might also refer to:
- The relevance of something.
- A supporting point, or a member that is resting on supports.
- Parts that facilitate the rotation of a shaft.
