Adaptive reuse
The Living Building Challenge 4.0, A Visionary Path to a Regenerative Future, published by the International Living Future Institute in June 2019, defines adaptive reuse as: ‘The process of reusing a structure or building for a purpose other than the original purpose for which it was built or designed.’
