Jake White is a Chartered Architectural Technologist and director of Jake White Architecture, a residential practice based in West Sussex covering Sussex, Surrey, and the surrounding area. He holds MCIAT status and works across new build housing, extensions, and refurbishment projects, with particular experience in conservation areas and the High Weald National Landscape.
Before establishing his own practice, Jake spent seven years as a senior architectural technologist at Morgan Carn Architects and Ecotecture. His work has been published in Build It, Passive House Plus, and Architecture Today. He was listed as a finalist for the 2024 CIAT Architectural Technologist of the Year and project contributions have lead to success at the Sussex Heritage Trust awards.
He also builds open source tools for the industry, including StairSmith, a free browser-based staircase modeller that exports IFC4X3 and DXF.
