Crittall
Crittal windows are the brand name for a type of steel window using hot rolled steel to give narrow frame. They are also available as doors.
The company Crittal has been manufacturing windows since 1849 and as such were one of the earliest commercial suppliers of these type of thin line steel windows. The name Crittal is sometimes used interchangeably with hot rolled steel windows, also referred to industrial windows as they can be found on a variety of historical warehouse buildings throughout the UK.
For further information see the page historic steel-framed windows and for a more detailed history of the product see the page Crittall metal windows.
