Recycled aggregates
The National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF), published by the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government in 2021, defines recycled aggregates as: ‘aggregates resulting from the processing of inorganic materials previously used in construction, e.g. construction and demolition waste.’
This definition was repeated in the revised NPPF in 2024.
