Mobilisation plan

Information protocol to support BS EN ISO 19650-2 the delivery phase of assets, published by the UK BIM Framework in association with the Construction Industry Council (CIC), Edition 1: May 2020, suggests that a mobilization plan (or mobilisation plan) refers to: ‘…a plan for the Mobilization of the Delivery Team’s resources in accordance with the Information Standard which is contained in the Appointment or, if no Mobilization Plan is contained in the Appointment, which was included in the Appointee’s tender response, as may be identified in the Information Particulars as may be identified in the Information Particulars.’

Functional Standards Common Glossary, published by the Cabinet Office, defines a mobilisation plan as: ‘A plan detailing how a supplier intends to mobilise their resources ready for undertaking their contract obligations.’
