Defusing the skills timebomb

The FMB produced this report in 2015 to consider what was needed to support SME construction employers take on young apprentices. It acknowledges that there are actual and perceived barriers that are stopping SMEs recruiting apprentices and provides guidance on what can be done by government, CITB and FMB to address of support so as to encourage the numbers of employers offering opportunities.
