Building diversity in construction
This article by Neil Bentley-Gockman OBE explores how improving diversity in construction can help address the industry recruitment challenge. He identifies the very low numbers of women and those from the BAME community and suggests that this due to the stereotypes and pre-conceptions of the industry. The importance of role models is identified as a factor in encouraging those from under-represented groups to consider the industry as a career.
