Over 30 years’ experience in the building and construction industry including traditional and MMC, offsite construction, modular buildings and bathrooms pods.
Possessing a high degree of knowledge to the associated M&E trades related to products and services supplied to the Education, Student, Hotel, Key Worker, MoD and all aspects of the Residential sectors of the market.
As a result of many years of experience in this field, I have also gained considerable knowledge of all aspects of other building trades.
I have a sound understanding and commercial awareness relevant to the products and associated services.
Time served and apprentice trained, fully qualified plumber for ten years, covering most aspects of the domestic Plumbing and Heating trade. This includes installations and maintenance of plumbing and heating systems in domestic properties and plumbing to commercial properties, including schools, colleges, offices and hospitals.
Trained and qualified as a Total Quality/Continuous Improvement Facilitator this has helped me to fully understand the importance and needs of all my customers both external and internal.
Trained and elected an Employee's Representative to represent the salaried staff in the companies Consultative Forum for 6 years
Developed and followed a career path taking me from apprentice, tradesman, designer and through to senior management in a structured and progressive manner.
Coached and developed individuals and teams to refocus on targets and goals of a customer focused service, to understand the difference and value from being the end of the project to potentially being the beginning of the next sale.
