About Howesma
An experienced design, project, programme and change director with a history of successful project delivery

I have a 2:1 BEng degree in Mechanical Engineering with Business Management but I also studied MSc in Project Management and have over 10 years of experience holding a management position. I have experience in helping to devise and implement best practice and support by ensuring that high quality creative design is achieved.
I have substantial experience on a wide range of projects, including master planning, mixed use, stadia, tall buildings, high end residential, commercial, retail, rail and highways. I have worked in several reputable UK consultancy firms.
I was responsible for handing out assignments and supervising all work from the beginning of a project stage to the end. It was my job to make sure the employees were performing their duties in a fast but efficient manner. I also made sure employees stayed within the allotted budget and that all work was completed within the time allowed.
I have outstanding multi-tasking abilities, time-management skills and the ability to conduct extensive research for all projects. I have excellent interpersonal skills and a very easy-going personality. This combination makes it easy to listen to criticism and then use this information in a constructive manner to help the design team become the best in the business.
To summarise I have:-
- Ability to achieve results on time and to budget
- Ability to prioritise tasks and to manage a varied and demanding workload
- Ability to fit into an existing structure
- Ability to work on my own initiative and as part of a team
- Ability to communicate across all organisation levels
- Strong organisational, project management and administrative skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills both written and verbal
- A positive attitude and commitment to aims of the department
I have excellent verbal skills as noted above with the ability to express myself in a clear and concise manner. I can also make a connection with clients by listening to what they are saying when they describe the type of design they need. This helps to ensure we meet or exceed their expectations.
I combine excellent technical and IT skills with an ability to communicate well with clients on an ongoing basis and for the duration of the projects in question. I have been trusted to train new employees and have delivered several presentations at client and professional body seminars.
My success can be attributed to exceptional attention to detail, focused problem solving and painstaking project management.
