Ways to improve the performance of buildings in use:
-Finding new ways to integrate renewable energy is the way forward. Homes should have the option of solar panels to generate electricity. Street lamps should be solar powered, this will have a high cost but in long term save money.
-Government and corporate buildings should be regulated in the amount of energy they use, also introducing urban gardens.
