[edit] About Us
The Construction Products Association is the leading voice to promote and campaign for construction product manufacturers and distributors.
We are committed to raising the profile of our industry and members’ businesses, helping grow the market and reducing regulatory risk. We represent our members across industry-wide organisations and alliances, whilst monitoring, supporting and lobbying government and public bodies in the UK and European Union to develop effective, evidence-based policies and solutions.
The CPA aims to provide our members with unequalled value and benefits. Whether it's tracking and assessing government policies, interpreting those policies and regulations and providing expert advice, leading work with members and the wider construction supply chain to create consensus on issues, producing authoritative economic, technical and sustainability publications, or advocating on our members’ behalf in London, Brussels and the devolved regions, we seek to protect our members and support their success.
We champion our members' interests across both the manufacturing and construction industries. Because we are product-neutral, the CPA speaks for the construction products industry as a whole with one strong, united voice.
The construction products industry provides jobs for 288,000 people across 22,000 companies. Ultimately, the CPA is about more than simply politics and regulations; it is about providing our members with the real value and insight to ensure their businesses can achieve sustainable, long-term success.

[edit] Our Priorities
The CPA fulfils a unique role, championing our members’ interests across both the construction and manufacturing industries. The issues impacting our members are varied and complex. With the support and guidance of our main board and wider membership, we focus our expertise, time and resources on the key issues where we can best achieve our strategic objectives: gaining greater recognition for construction product manufacturers and distributors; helping grow our members’ businesses and reducing their regulatory risks and burden.
[edit] Our Expertise
Our team is drawn from multiple disciplines – including economics, technical, regulatory, sustainability and external affairs – with knowledge and experience in both manufacturing and construction. We have particular expertise in market research and construction industry forecasting; developing and interpreting relevant policies, regulations and standards; measuring and reporting of sustainability performance; and providing expert technical advice. We also benefit from the wider expertise of our members, shared through committees, various engagement activities and publications. More…
[edit] Publications
The CPA is recognised and respected for providing authoritative, insightful and relevant research publications and reference materials which cover economic, sustainability, technical, regulatory and other significant industry issues. Members, politicians, civil servants, the media and the wider construction supply chain rely on us for our objective, accurate analysis and knowledge, together with credible, practical solutions which are fact and evidence-based.
Many of our publications are freely available to members and non-members alike. If you are not a member and are interested in accessing members-only materials, such as our highly regarded economic forecasts and surveys, you can subscribe here.
