Established in 1974, AF Switchgear specialises in the design, build and testing of bespoke LV distribution solutions.
[edit] AF Switchgear is one of the UK's largest switchgear manufacturers and set the standard for LV Switchgear and Power Distribution.
We have four manufacturing facilities on two sites in Nottinghamshire adjacent to Junction 28 of the M1 giving us transport links all across the country.
Our modern design, administration and manufacturing facilities cover over two hectares. Chartered Engineers and dedicated Project Managers to manage every aspect of any contract.
We manage every process in house from concept design with end clients and consultants through to commissioning and service.
We manufacture:

In addition to our products, we offer all of our customers effective service and support from a dedicated team. We can offer surveyance, maintenance, and a 24/7/365 call-out service for emergencies. AF Switchgear has a proven track record with almost 50 years of service and an annual turnover of approx £50 million. We have the building capacity, capabilities, and in-house expertise to meet all of your LV distribution requirements.
