The Energy White Paper, Powering our Net Zero Future (CP 337), published in December 2020 by HM Government, describes The Office for Gas and Electricity Markets (Ofgem) as: ‘…the independent GB energy regulator for gas and electricity. Its role is to protect consumers now and in the future by working to deliver a greener, fairer energy system.’
