Hydrography
The Geospatial Glossary, published by the Geospatial Commission, and accessed on 17 September 2022, defines hydrography as: ‘…a term describing the geographic representation of water features such as streams, rivers and lakes in a GIS… Hydrography involves measuring the depth of the water and fixing the position of all the navigational hazards that lie on the seafloor, such as wrecks and rocks.’
