Hate crime

The Devon and Cornwall Police define a hate crime as: ‘…any crime perceived to have been motivated by hostility or prejudice based on the victim’s actual or perceived personal identity'. This could include their race/ethnicity, disability status, religion/belief, sexual orientation and sex/gender.’
