Breakdown structure
The GIIG Glossary, published by the Government & Industry Interoperability Group in 2022, defines breakdown structure as: ‘A structuring of activities, objects or information where the constituents or other aspects (such as responsibility) are systematically identified and progressively subdivided according to logically structured conventions, methods, and procedural rules.’
