Applied digital documentation In the historic environment, published on 19 March 2018 by Historic Scotland, defines Structure from Motion (SfM) as: ‘A photogrammetric technique that uses bundle adjustment algorithms to simultaneously calculate subject topology and camera position and orientation.’
