IHBC welcomes new Historic England Consultation on its curtilage for listed buildings advice note

[1]IHBC members concerned about recent advice in the 'Historic England Advice Note' on Listed Buildings (LBs) and Curtilage will be pleased to know that Historic England (HE) intends to consult on a revised version.
IHBC Chair James Caird and Policy Chair Roy Lewis issued a joint statement saying: Historic England published a short advice note on Listed Buildings and Curtilage in the spring. It is now reviewing some of the detail in this note and will be consulting on this revised version. IHBC Chair James Caird and Policy Secretary Roy Lewis welcomed this news. The matter is clearly one of legal interpretation and the IHBC consultation response will have to be based on sound legal advice’.
