About Bamrahb

I joined Southwark Council during 1986 (at level 2) in their structures department and two years later joined Southwark Building Control. Since then, I have worked in:
• Building Control with four different Councils (i.e. London Borough of Hackney, London Borough of Harrow, Slough Borough Council and London Borough of Ealing) with a diverse cultural mix. I am professional in the service that I provide to all my customers (internal & external).
• Planning (short term secondment) for London Borough of Southwark (nine months) and London Borough of Ealing (six months).
I have worked in this environment for more than 20 years.
The responsibility in this industry is considerable. I make sure that Building Regulations are observed in the Planning and Construction stages of all buildings, as well as health & safety of people in and around buildings.
I aim to be reasonable and pragmatic in the interpretation of legislation. I use my professional skill and judgement to offer advice on acceptable solutions to meet statutory requirements.
Currently I am employed by AEDIS Regulatory Services Limited (AI) as a Senior Building Control surveyor in their London Office.
