Calcium phosphate

Geoarchaeology, Using Earth Sciences to Understand the Archaeological Record, published by Historic England in 2015, defines calcium phosphate as a: ‘…biologically precipitated compound (CaPO4), most commonly occurring in bone, but also crystallising occasionally in nutrient-rich situations (eg cess pits).’
