Working as a Sustainability Engineer while studying my MEng. My idea is to incorporate a double skin facade into a kinetic facade to act as a thermal buffer which changes depending on the outdoor condition. During summer the facade would be open allowing air movement and reducing the external conductance gain on the external envelope, during winter the facade would trap air inside to lower heat loss.
