About Mizanur Rahman

Mr. Mizanur Rahman is a Professional Chartered Accountant and Chartered Secretary having long experiences in his professional arena. Being experienced in the field of his discipline, ‘Financial and Managerial Controls (FMC)’, he occupied senior and control positions spanning over public, private and non-governmental sectors, home and abroad, and became familiar to the hemisphere of developed and developing countries of Asia, Africa, and Europe.
Mr. Rahman worked in various capacities, such as, Team Leader, Deputy Team Leader, Head of Administration and Finance, Executive Director (ED) and Expert, to assist governments projects, enterprises owned by government and private sectors, and others in service improvement, enhancing sustainability and capacity building specially funded by donor agencies like ADB, WB & JICA.
He contributed to the important elements of management, such as, operation and development, planning, and budgetary norms, MIS, AIS, and quality assessment and assurances, interpretations, evaluations and appraisals, legal affairs, taxation, inventory controls, procurement and capital assets management, analysis, audits, accounts, administration and implementation activities, project monitoring (physical and financial) of infrastructure development project, preparation of Development Project Proposal (DPP), & revision of DPP, procurement processes and contract management.
He had the opportunity to obtain procedural and practical experience in critical and dynamic presentation of Planning, Programming, and Budgeting System (PPBS), Fund Management, Project Implementation, Project Management, and HRD including administrative policy & structure.
Mr. Rahman maintains an updated profile in observing generally accepted accounting and auditing principles pursuing International Accounting Standard (IAS), International Standard of Auditing (ISA) and International Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC) rules as adopted in Bangladesh. He has strong back ground in conducting training, home and abroad and teaching experiences too.
As Specialist/Advisor/Consultant Mr. Rahman worked for various organizations financed by donor agencies like WB, ADB, UNDP, UNICEF, DANIDA, or NOVIB, JICA and Government of Bangladesh (GoB) and others.
He worked in the GO-NGO and private environments which were engaged in alleviation of poverty, social mobilization, health and population control, education, agriculture, transportation, and infrastructure development as expert, entrepreneur and volunteer too.
Currently, he is engaged in a mega construction project of Bangladesh as a member of ‘Management Supervision Consultants’ (MSC) team.
