In this dissertation, I will be investigating how effective are the UK strategies in reducing global warming through encouraging the use of environmentally safe materials within the construction industry. Fundamentally, in this task I aim to understand the extent businesses in the understand the extent of non-environmentally friendly materials used in the construction industry, investigate the perception on reducing global warming today in within the construction industry and establish whether the government are doing enough to encourage the use of sustainable resources . Essentially, the primary objectives for these aims is to research what proportion of organizations have been using sustainable and environmentally safe materials during the process of construction. Furthermore, the final primal objective is to; review the government’s strategies to supply businesses with sustainable materials.
