Buildings often monitor and base air volumes and heating /cooling load on estimated occupancy. By monitoring actual occupancy (person count on entry/exit) BMS should be able to make minor but accurate adjustments to plant (AHU's, VRF's etc.). This should improve energy efficiency and comfort.
