Apprenticeships: Not always the answer

This FE New article explores why, for many NEETs, apprenticeships are not a viable option for entry into the construction industry. It considers why a negative academic experience, and financial considerations prevent many NEETs from taken on these opportunities, offers suggestions on what could be done differently and considers the proposed Kick Start scheme as a way to address this.
