Social return on investment

Social Value and Design of the Built Environment, published by the Supply Chain Sustainability School in 2017, defines Social Return on Investment (SROI) as: ‘…a framework for measuring and accounting for social value, using a methodology developed from social accounting and cost-benefit analysis and based on seven principles; involve stakeholders, understand what changes, value the things that matter, only include what is material, do not over-claim, be transparent, verify the result.’
