Part time writer job description
Do you have experience of the construction industry? Are you looking for flexible, part-time work that will help you stay up to date with what’s going on and will build your CV?
Designing Buildings Wiki are seeking part-time, home workers who can write factual articles about the construction industry.
Designing Buildings Wiki is a free-to-use, open-access knowledge base. It includes articles about every aspect of building design, construction and operation. To ensure the site is comprehensive, we want to commission introductory articles about subjects that are missing from the site.
Applicants must have a sound knowledge of the construction industry, and should be proficient at researching and writing factual text. Individual articles can vary in length, but must average 400 words. You should be prepared to write 5 articles a week, with payment made on a per-article basis at a rate of £15 per article.
- For an example of a typical article, see: Provisional sum.
- For a list of articles that we need, see: Articles required.
