Absolute coordinates
The Geospatial Glossary, published by the Geospatial Commission, and accessed on 17 September 2022, defines absolute coordinates as: ‘A coordinate pair or triplet measured directly from the origin of the coordinate system in which it lies and not to any other point in the system.’
