Smart Building Overlay to the RIBA Plan of Work, published by the RIBA in 2024, defines structured information as: ‘Information which has been set out in such a manner that it can be consumed and analysed using a digital method. This may be a database populated to meet a schema, a well formed spreadsheet template, or even a data rich model.’
