Dublin core

The Geospatial Glossary, published by the Geospatial Commission, and accessed on 17 September 2022, defines the Dublin core as: ‘A standard core ontology for meta-data about documents, originating in Dublin Ohio and managed by the Dublin Core Metadata Initiative.’

The Dublin Core Metadata Initiative (DCMI) is used within the Specification for Discoverable Construction Knowledge, standard initiated by the Construction Knowledge Task Group (CKTG) to improve access to construction knowledge by making it more discoverable.
