Architectural zoning
In architecture, the zoning of a house is described as an analysis that allows us to determine the criteria that must be followed to build a project, correctly positioning the project areas according to needs.
We will be able to decide where on the lot to place each of the areas once we have studied the site and have the program of requirements and architectural zoning diagrams, taking into account the numerous requirements and guiding ideas. To put it another way, we'll start zoning.
Using colors for architectural zoning, we define the location of the different zones, as well as the areas within each area. In doing so, we take into account direction, circulations and flows, and visual punchlines.
To locate each place, we must prioritize, rank and make decisions based on our understanding of the problems to be solved. In architecture, zoning is done at the same size as the land is displayed. Papers cut out with regions similar to those required by each scenario are often useful, papers that are placed on top of the terrain drawing.
When zoning, we will take into account the trajectory of people, what they will see, what they will see in the background and where they will direct their gaze. This is essential, since we will define the routes, which must be pleasant, rational and intriguing.
