&lt;div&gt;These are used where smoking is permitted and in other situations where a smoke detector could be inadvertently actuated by process work in the building. For example, in Kitchen room, many times there will be a continuous supply of smoke. So a smoke detector gets activated even if there is no fire that had occured.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
It also identifies fire in its more advanced stage,so that the response time is longer than smoke detectors.&lt;/div&gt;</summary>
