[[File:Image_1.PNG|link=File:Image_1.PNG]]Using BIM software can help reduce ambiguity and clashes during the design phase, but what can improve this more, is the spatial visualization of the project from a person's perspective during design and before the implementation phase is initiated. Using a combination of game-engine and Building Information Modeling was helpful in this regard.

Any concern regarding safety measures, spatial accommodation of construction equipment and the ability to estimate how much can the project take time to build, conduct surveys and as-built drawings can be done via a game-like application like Vimert (the one illustrated in the image) or other simulators.

This method was used for problems that might occur in a rehabilitation project of an old building to be an INGO headquarters, so the need for every element to be in location was paramount.

Another important aspect while managing such projects is the diversity or teams, there are teams for floor finishes, wall finishes, wiring, piping and HVAC systems. Therefore, a need for traffic management within the building was also needed.

Important lessons learned from this project:

* There is a need to conduct spatial planning before and after the project is finished, as implementation might result in different interior spacing if the original status report was not accurate enough
* using game-engine software can help better visualize and calculate issues on the spot
* These computer applications cannot accurately predict how the interior decor would look like
* The usability of such models can only be determined by how good the original modeling was, on software such as Revit.
* The dividing of details and elements has a major role in facilitating implementation
* paper layouts are still required and cannot soon be replaced via digital modeling, unless there are tools for free measuring of dimentions.
